Red lentils are legumes with high nutritional value, rich in iron, phosphorus, carbohydrates, proteins, and B vitamins. A serving of red lentils, about the size of a cup of tea, contains more than half the daily requirement of iron. If you have a problem with legumes, they are much more digestible and light.
