Millet is a herbaceous plant that produces small edible seeds. Discovered & cultivated systematically for the first time in China in 7500 BC. In ancient Greece it was used mainly for making bread. It is a source of vegetable protein, has a high content of fiber & has a high content of vitamin B6 & Niacin. Contains high content of Magnesium, Phosphorus, Copper. It is also a source of Iron & Zinc. By nature it does not contain gluten.
